Meet the Owner

Matt lives in Burlington, Ontario with his wife and their two children, ages five and seven. As a parent and a local house league hockey coach, he is deeply involved in the community and understands the importance of building confidence, discipline, and resilience in kids.

He spent the early part of his career in the technology industry, starting as a Software Tester before moving into leadership roles. For the past eight years, Matt has been self-employed as a consultant and trainer, helping organizations improve how their teams work and grow through coaching and training.

Matt is driven by work that makes a meaningful impact on people’s lives, which is why Tutor Doctor’s mission to change the trajectory of students through personalized, one-to-one tutoring strongly resonates with him. He is proud to bring Tutor Doctor to the Burlington community and support local families in helping students reach their full potential.
