Hi! I’m Lexi, an Ohio State alum and proud Buckeye. I’m originally from Cincinnati but have called Columbus home for over a decade. I have my degree in Fashion and Retail Studies with minors in English and Spanish, and I currently work in recruiting for a global fashion retailer. Prior to pursuing fashion, I studied to be a language teacher in English and Spanish. I’ve held a lifelong passion for education, and I’ve worked with students of all ages. I’m inspired by books, music, animals, and roller coasters! But I’m endlessly inspired to inquire, learn, and explore. I’m elated to go on the journey of helping students achieve their learning goals with Tutor Doctor.

My name is Stephanie Andrick. I am in my 11th year as a middle school teacher in Marysville, and I have also been tutoring for a year now. Both tutoring and being a teacher have been two of the most rewarding experiences of my life! One of my greatest strengths is building relationships with students and encouraging them to work hard to be successful.  I have a Master’s Degree in education, and in using all of my combined skills from teaching and tutoring, as well as skills acquired during my 20 years as an athletics coach, I am confident that I can help students achieve their academic goals! I look forward to working with your student!

Hi! My name is Evan Bauer, I’m currently in my senior year as a student at the Ohio State University studying Romance Studies. My current plans are to return to school for my master’s degree in one of the three foreign languages I’ve acquired so that I can teach them. While I specialize in language learning acquisition, I’ve also tutored students from all different kinds of backgrounds in English and Math as well. Learning is a huge passion of mine that I’ve enjoyed all my life. The thrill of discovering new things and sharing my discoveries is one of my favorite things and I strive to encourage my students to become life-long learners as well. My goal with tutoring is to connect students’ passions with that about which they are learning in class to make learning not only fun, but to also get them excited about learning. Other than tutoring, I enjoy playing games, going out with friends, writing and mixing my own music, writing stories and reading audiobooks.

My name is Jordan and I grew up in Powell, Ohio. After graduating from Olentangy Liberty, I attended college at The Ohio State University where I received a BA in English Literature. After college, I taught English as a Foreign Language to students of all ages! I also helped with ACT/SAT prep for high school students and subject tutoring for all grade levels. Most recently, in May 2023 I graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law with my J.D. Throughout law school, I worked at my school’s Writing Center where I helped my classmates with grammar and writing structure. I have really enjoyed working with students of all ages to help them meet their goals!

When I’m not at school or working, I love spending time with my family and friends. On the weekends I love to go hiking with my dog and my friends! I also love to ski and swim whenever I get the chance.

Hello! My name is Heather, and I am super eager to have the chance to work with you and your student to achieve education goals and encourage self-confidence to succeed in future learning. I have my Bachelor’s degree in early childhood administration and education along with seven years of teaching experience. I started my teaching career in Tampa, Florida as a Lead teacher for five years for Head Start for Pasco County schools. My daughter and I moved to Columbus in 2021, where I have been substitute teaching full-time for Dublin, Delaware, and Buckeye Valley schools. My teaching approach is individually catered to each student’s unique learning style, personality, education goals/challenges, and strengths. I encourage building healthy relationships with students and families with open communication to support students in the best way possible. I look forward to our future accomplishments and learning adventures together!

Hello, my name is Bruce!  I have a B.S, in Electrical and Computer Engineering from OSU and enjoy tutoring all math subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and English composition (at the high school level).  Most of my time is spent ballroom dancing, working on robotic projects, as well as spending time with family and friends. My mother as a teacher showed me the importance of education at a young age and I am pleased to carry on that legacy.

I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2019 with a BS in Computer Science & Engineering specializing in Artificial Intelligence and with a minor in Mathematics. I am currently enrolled at DePaul University looking to get my MS in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.

Born and raised in Chicago, I enjoy weightlifting, the outdoors, cooking, and riding my bike. I also like to watch sports and play video games in my spare time.

Math is my favorite subject; I have taken class many different math classes ranging from Algebra to Calculus in Grade School and Differential Equations and Linear Algebra to Numerical Analysis and Pure Math in my Undergrad.

Like many others, math doesn’t always come easy to me. I like to visualize it and work on practice problems to understand better. I always say math is the easiest subject to study because you are always given the most amount of study material. I have always been the go-to guy when someone needs help with math homework.

Hello! My name is Sahal.  I am currently a medical student at The Ohio State University, but I have always had a strong passion for teaching! I also went to OSU for undergrad and have a BS in Biology along with a minor in history. Throughout college and even high school, I have been a tutor for nearly 5 years in both team-based and individual settings. While I often do math tutoring, I enjoy working with students on English and Science too! Some of my hobbies include swimming, photography, and aviation! As I grew up in Southwest Ohio, I am a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals as well!

Hello!  My name is Corinne.  I presently work for American Electric Power in the enjoyable role of a Senior Analyst in Corporate Finance.  I recently finished a Master’s in Finance Economics from Ohio University and have been looking for opportunities to get back into the instructing and educating field part-time.

After completing my Bachelor’s degree, I substitute taught for both Tri-Valley Middle School and Tri-Valley High School located in Zanesville, Ohio. I have raised and educated three “now adult children” and when possible have participated in the corporate educating and developing of others. I am proficient in qualitative and qualitative advanced math theory and applications and genuinely enjoy motivating others for success.

My name is Chase! I am an Ohio University alumnus who moved from Maryland to Ohio in January of 2019. In high school, I played football, basketball, and rugby.  Nowadays, I love reading, hiking, snowboarding, going to music festivals, and watching sports (Go Ravens!).  This is my third year of full-time teaching, as well as my third year of tutoring!

I graduated from Indiana State with a Master’s in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2019. During my time at Indiana State, I was a Graduate teaching assistant and an academic tutor (both K-12 and college) teaching Introductory Biology and tutoring various subjects, both science and non-science. After graduating, I moved to Columbus to work at The Ohio State University as a Research Associate within the Department of Neurology, but now I am working on pursuing education full-time!

I have been an educator for thirteen years now and I have taught children of all ages (in addition to teaching at the college and university levels). I have worked in traditional school settings, tutoring centers and summer camps. Therefore, I have a wealth of educational experience and knowledge. My educational background is in Biology and Education, and I hold master’s degrees in both disciplines. I truly have a passion for education and engaging young minds. I also enjoy interacting with children and finding out what motivates them, what engages them and what they find interesting. Most recently, I have been working with children at the Elementary, Middle School, and High School levels. I live in Cleveland Heights, OH with my husband, my 11-year-old son, our Corgi Winston, and our pet chinchilla. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, yoga & meditation, and reading. I think that being connected to nature is very important for all children developmentally. I also believe that taking breaks from “screens” and other devices is essential. I am excited about this new opportunity to assist your children in their learning endeavors. I will encourage them to be productive, actively engage in the learning process and ask great questions. It is my goal to help them succeed and to achieve their educational goals.
