Support Program
The K–5 Academic Support Program is designed for elementary students who need structured, data-driven academic reinforcement or continued growth across subject areas.
This program supports students in two important ways:
Providing targeted academic support for students who need help strengthening foundational skills, mastering grade-level content, or building consistency
Supporting students who are progressing well and are ready to deepen understanding, strengthen study habits, and continue growing with confidence
All instruction is provided through one-to-one tutoring, either in your home, at a flexible location such as a local library, or through virtual tutoring.
At the elementary level, academic success depends on strong content knowledge, steady skill development, and effective school habits. Our goal is to strengthen academic performance while helping students build confidence, responsibility, and independence.
What We Focus On
Elementary learning is cumulative. Gaps at this stage can impact long-term academic success, while strong foundations create lasting confidence.
Depending on student needs, instruction may focus on:
Reading comprehension and fluency
Writing development and organization
Math foundations and problem-solving strategies
Grade-level content reinforcement

📝 Academic Diagnostic (Let’s Go Learn)
This assessment identifies specific skill gaps in reading or math and highlights which foundational skills are solid and where support should be prioritized. Families receive a clear report outlining strengths and areas for growth, and we review the results together so you understand exactly what we will focus on and why.
As tutoring progresses, we use the same assessment system for structured progress checks to ensure gaps are being filled and skills are strengthening.
🧩 Learning Profile (MindPrint Learning – available for students age 8 and up)
While academic diagnostics tell us what to teach, MindPrint helps us understand how your child learns best. This cognitive learning profile provides insight into areas such as attention, memory, reasoning, and processing speed. That information allows us to adjust instruction, select effective strategies, and make tutoring more efficient and purposeful.
Using this data, tutors create a customized academic plan tailored to the individual student. Instruction is thoughtfully scaffolded so students experience success while steadily building independence.

Each monthly report includes:

- Skills currently being strengthened
- Updated goals and next focus areas
Reports may be shared with classroom teachers when helpful to support collaboration and alignment.
We welcome ongoing communication with families and are always available to discuss adjustments or evolving academic goals.
