Meet the Owners

Rhonda and Scott are the co-owners of Tutor Doctor Lethbridge, which they launched together in 2010 with a shared commitment to supporting students and families in their community. Both grew up on southern Alberta farms—Rhonda in Magrath and Scott south of Warner—where they developed strong work ethics, practical skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset early on.

Rhonda studied Business Administration in Lethbridge and built a career spanning agriculture, commodity trading, and insurance, including managing a life and health division for a Western Canadian company. She maintains her life insurance license and has become a dedicated entrepreneur and investor, owning and operating multiple businesses. Scott is a journeyman welder by trade who spent years in manufacturing, building agriculture and oilfield equipment before moving into management, marketing, and sales. Together, they were drawn to the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives through personalized education.

Both are active community leaders who support schools, local organizations, fundraisers, and youth sports across the region. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with their daughter Ali and their dog Chuck, golfing, watching and playing sports, camping, skiing, exploring the outdoors, and—on Scott’s end—playing music with his band, Trainwreck.
