Owners Jamie Jewell and Amy Ascher have a passion for working with children and bring a great deal of experience to the Tutor Doctor program. Their business is designed to provide learning opportunities for individual students who have needs that require additional support to help them to further understand the concepts and skills being taught in the classroom.

Tutor Doctor also prides themselves in assisting students in developing, not only content knowledge and ACT college prep, but also addressing “executive” skills such as long term organization, self-discipline, and self-confidence.

Jamie has worked as an educator with the Muskego Norway School District as a classroom teacher and a Response To Intervention (RTI) Specialist. She understands the importance of collaborating with the classroom teacher to coordinate learning opportunities that cover concepts and skills being introduced. This helps students gain mastery in their subject area while at home. Amy has a Bachelor’s Degree and background in business. Together, they are two local Moms working toward a goal of providing students of this community a strong academic foundation to build upon.
