Karrima Muhammad, owner of Tutor Doctor, serving Glen Burnie and surrounding communities, is proud to deliver a proven building block learning process through customized, in-home and online, private tutoring sessions.
Karrima is the single mother of three outstanding Anne Arundel County Public School Scholars. Her youngest son, Dawud Muhammad, is a 10th-grade student at Old Mill High School. Her middle daughter, Nafiah, graduated from Old Mill in 2019 and is now working on her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bowie State University. Her oldest daughter, Kalimah, attended Arundel High School. Karrima started her career as a Math and Computer Science Teacher in Oakland, California. After moving back to Maryland in 2006, she worked at the intersection of technology and services to vulnerable communities. Karrima received a bachelor’s in Computer Science from California State University and pursued a Master’s of Business Administration from George Washington University. Karrima is also an inventor and holds a US Utility Patent.
Karrima currently serves as the Secretary of the Old Mill High School PTSA, and she is passionate about education and changing the trajectory of students’ lives!
