Jody Johnson, the owner of Tutor Doctor Bonita Springs, has forged a path as an entrepreneur throughout her career. Beginning with ownership of a successful home and office cleaning business, Jody transitioned into exterior product sales when her husband ventured into sales for Home Depot. As their business endeavors expanded, Jody’s role evolved from administrative support to actively engaging in sales within the Home Depot installations sphere. Witnessing the fluctuating landscape of the industry, Jody and her husband seized the opportunity to establish their own business focusing on exterior installations, specializing in roofing and siding products. Through grassroots marketing and community-based advertising, they nurtured their company’s growth from its inception, even venturing into the dumpster bin rental sector to complement their primary operations.
Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Jody and her husband found respite from their seasonal business demands by escaping to Florida during winter. Over time, their affection for the Sunshine State blossomed, prompting them to explore business ventures that would facilitate a permanent move. When she learned about Tutor Doctor and its franchise opportunities, Jody was drawn to bringing personalized tutoring services to the Florida community. After thorough deliberation and consultation with key figures within the Tutor Doctor organization and fellow franchisees, Jody and her husband embarked on this new chapter while maintaining their existing business interests in Ontario.
Jody loves spending quality time with her dogs and actively participates in rescue organizations outside of work. She cherishes moments spent at the beach, indulging in fishing, and reveling in the beauty of the outdoors.
