As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about transforming lives through education.  Launching Tutor Doctor Mount Vernon represents a crucial link in the chain of resources within the Lynx Learning Experience, Inc. family of companies.  In 2020, I left my career in transportation and logistics to launch Lynx Logistics, a delivery service partner of Amazon. Currently, Lynx boasts a team of 100 dedicated delivery associates who handle an impressive 8,000 packages daily in the Bronx.

I believe experiential learning through problem solving is the key to developing critical thinking skills. This is recognized as a vital element by academia as well as the public and private sectors.

Throughout my career, I’ve honed my training skills by designing and facilitating programs for both sales teams at FedEx and flight crews at American Trans Air. In 1993, I co-founded Selcon Airlines, a collaborative effort with a Nigerian partner, establishing air travel between Lagos and New York.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in airline management and an MBA, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Currently, I am completing my dissertation for a doctorate in instructional design. My ambition is to establish a pioneering primary school that instills entrepreneurial spirit, financial acumen, and a collaborative mindset in young minds.

A passionate road cyclist, I founded the Ephesus Spin Cycle to promote health and wellness through cycling in Harlem, New York. Beyond cycling, I’m actively involved in education, serving on the K-12 board for the Northeastern Conference school system. While chairing the school board at Capitol City SDA School in Indianapolis, I secured a $500,000 matching grant from the Ely Lilly Foundation to expand the school’s facilities, which led to a significant enrollment increase from 60 to 250 students. A lifelong learner and coach, I find joy in diverse pursuits like beekeeping, motorcycling, running, hiking, astronomy, teaching, and exploring the world with my wife and partner, Karen. Together, we advocate for and contribute to the development of today’s learners, who will become tomorrow’s responsible adults.
