Michelle is a local owner and started Tutor Doctor Lakeway in Jan 2019. She transitioned from a 23-year career in IT. She started her career in the US Air Force. She used her GI Bill to get her  BS in Computer Science  from Park University. Later while working at the Texas Attorney General’s Office she got her MBA in IT Management from WGU Texas. While working as an IT Director for a local non-profit she fell in love with education. Michelle’s motto is “education doesn’t just change your life, it changes generations of lives to come”. Owning Tutor Doctor Lakeway fulfilled a lifelong goal of running her own business, the best part of her work is knowing she is helping students change the trajectory of their lives. Michelle loves hearing about her student’s successes and enjoys finding solutions for parents.

Michelle currently sits on the boards for the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Travis Education Foundation. She loves volunteering in her local community to include taking care of the cats at our local PetSmart Cattery. 

Michelle has been married to her husband Daniel since 2005. She has 2 boys who attend Lake Travis ISD. Her family has lived in Falcon head West since 2013.
