After working over 23 years in the corporate world, Shannon wanted to find a career that allowed her to contribute to society more directly. She wanted to help people and make a difference in their lives. She understands firsthand, with her own son, the challenges parents and families face when a child is struggling in school. It puts a lot of stress on everyone. When Shannon found Tutor Doctor, she knew it was the answer to making a difference.

As a Tutor Doctor Education Consultant, Shannon takes initiative in understanding students’ needs and aligns their goals, along with their family, to help match them with an ideal tutor who will connect with them in their learning style, personality, and academic needs to help deliver on results. Most importantly, she knows she is giving back to the community by helping change the trajectory of students’ lives.
