Hello! We are Joyce and Paul Nagel, proud residents of Melissa, serving the Far North Dallas area. Our passion for education was ignited by our children. Our two oldest (twins!) pursued careers in education, which highlighted the importance of solid educational foundations, effective study habits, and the role of support services like tutoring. Our youngest, who is a high school student on the Autism Spectrum, has taught us the profound value of developmental and educational programs in helping him reach his fullest potential.

We understand the immense pressure students face when encountering academic challenges. Failing to grasp concepts or keep up with the class can be overwhelming, leading to a significant decline in confidence that affects performance both inside and outside the classroom.

Paul’s dedication to mentoring and developing people was a cornerstone of his corporate career spanning over 30 years. Leading successful teams through major projects and strategic initiatives at a Fortune 500 company, he emphasized building teams that complemented his strengths and providing mentorship to help team members achieve their professional goals. Beyond work, Paul has coached youth sports, participated in scouting, taught youth religious studies, and actively supported his children’s High School Band and Orchestra Booster Programs. Joyce has been the Family CEO, managing the myriad functions necessary to keep our household running smoothly.

Motivated by our passion and expertise, we launched a Tutor Doctor office, eager to provide invaluable support to students and parents alike.  We look forward to hearing from you and sharing how we can help your student achieve their educational goals.
