Meet Our Team

Haylee has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an ACE-TESOL certificate. She tutors students of all ages in English, Math, and Science, and has a special passion for helping ESL students. Haylee believes that it is her calling to help educate others and she enjoys watching students grow in confidence and knowledge during her sessions. In her spare time, Haylee enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and watching Formula 1 races.

Sanchit has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and is currently working on a Master’s in Engineering with a focus on Industrial Engineering. He enjoys helping students in physics, math, and chemistry, and his favourite thing about tutoring is the feeling he gets when he helps students strengthen their foundation of learning and achieve their full academic potential. Sanchit likes to read fiction novels, watch mythical movies, and read about current affairs in his free time.

Chris has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in Education. Chris tutors primary and middle school students in Math, Literacy, Language Arts, and Science. Chris’s goal with tutoring is to discover more about childhood education by creating an enjoyable learning environment for his students to thrive in and helping them realize their passion for learning. Chris enjoys watching, playing, and coaching a variety of sports.

Olivia has completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics and will begin her Bachelor of Education in September of this year. Olivia tutors university-level subjects in the Human Kinetics program at the University of Windsor. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys seeing her students gain academic confidence and independence during their sessions. Olivia enjoys soccer, hiking, reading, and painting. She is also working towards becoming a certified yoga instructor.

Piumi is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Windsor and works as a graduate teaching assistant. She is passionate about science and enjoys tutoring students who are looking to improve their understanding of STEM subjects. Piumi loves to travel, take photographs, and play badminton when she’s not completing her research or working with students.

Carolyn is currently completing her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience. She is trilingual and tutors students in Math, Science, French, and English. Carolyn tutors because she enjoys seeing students develop a love for learning and watching them excel in subjects they were previously struggling with. In her free time, Carolyn likes to watch basketball games, get bubble tea, and watch movies.

Ashley is entering her fifth year of the Concurrent Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Education and Early Childhood Education diploma program at the University of Windsor. She has completed the ECE course and her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She strives to help students create strategies and focus on their individual learning styles to help them reach their academic goals. Some of her hobbies include reading, going for walks, baking, traveling, and going to concerts.

Mansi has completed her Honors Degree of Science in Behavior, Cognition and Neuroscience at the University of Windsor. Mansi loves tutoring because she gets to meet new people and help them achieve their learning goals. She specializes in creating individual and unique learning plans! She enjoys tutoring courses in Math, Biology and Chemistry. In her free time, Mansi plays tennis, volleyball and running.

Nicholas has a Bachelor’s of Science, in behaviour, cognition, and neuroscience at the University of Windsor and is continuing his studies in Biomedical Engineering Technology at St. Clair College. His primary tutoring subjects are Math, Biology, Chemistry, English, and French. Nicholas has decided to join the Tutor Doctor team because he has gone through his own academic challenges and is very happy to be able to provide help to students that he wishes he received. In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys playing games, playing music, sunset walks, and rock climbing.

Amber is currently working towards achieving her Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor. She has already graduated from Western University obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Science, with distinction. Concentrated in Integrated Sciences, Biology, and Chemistry. Amber has joined the Tutor Doctor team because she loves connecting with students, solving problems, and finding new ways to explain concepts. She enjoys tutoring mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry. In Amber’s free time, she enjoys running, swimming, and cycling. In addition, She loves to read and write letters to keep in touch with friends!

Marco is currently enrolled at the University of Windsor in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Automotive Engineering. Marco joined the Tutor Doctor team because he loves being able to share his knowledge and become a role model to younger students. He also thinks that education is important, and hopes to make other students excited about learning. He enjoys tutoring in Physics, Math, and Chemistry. During his free time, Marco is part of a team that is designing and building a Formula-style electric car and has been the lead trumpet player in a jazz band for 6 years.

Simon is currently in his 3rd year at Wayne State University focusing on completing the MD program. Previously Simon graduated from the University of Windsor gaining a bachelor’s in Public Health. Simon will be tutoring in subjects related to Biology, Physiology, and Biochemistry. As a person who struggled academically growing up, he understands how frustrating school can be. He has learned a lot throughout the years and wants to share his experience with other students. He believes it is a great help to serve others in the community and address their academic needs. Simon’s hobbies include watching basketball, soccer, MMA, and combining academics with athletics.

Cailin has recently gained her certification in teaching by completing her Bachelor of Education at Lakehead University. Before completion of her BEd, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science, also through Lakehead, where she majored in chemistry and biology. Her strong passion for the sciences is what led her to become qualified to teach and her main goal as an educational support is to ensure that as a student you feel, understood, supported, and able to tackle challenges. Cailin is capable of tutoring students in the fields of science, whether a general science, biology, chemistry, or physics class. Cailin can offer support in other areas, such as completing homework tasks or assignments, co-developing lessons and/or plans to meet goals, and quiz, test, or exam reviews. In her spare time, Cailin enjoys participating in organized sports, hiking, camping, or spending time outdoors! Cailin is eager to work alongside you to provide a learning experience that will allow students to feel thoroughly supported.
