Charles Gomes is a passionate educator and owner of Tutor Doctor Cary Holly Springs. After spending 15 years in finance with career span between Wall Street and Commercial Banking of Triangle, NC, Charles decided to dedicate his time into his passion since 2018. 

Originally from Bangladesh, Charles’ life and education has made him a global person. Charles was born in Manama, Bahrain. He completed his elementary and middle school in Bangladesh (St. Josephs High School, Dhaka). He moved to London to complete high school and a diploma in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Lambeth College. Charles moved to Rapid City, SD with a soccer scholarship at National American University. Later he transferred to Edinboro University, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Marketing. Charles Completed his MBA (Accounting and Finance) from Florida Tech.

Charles is a passionate community member and an entrepreneur with several small businesses, operating within the community. He’s been coaching youth soccer since 2010 and heavily involved in both adult and youth music. His passion for helping families and promote education fuels his drive with Tutor Doctor. 

Currently Charles lives in Wake Forest, NC with wife and 2 kids.
