Katy ACT/SAT® Preparation Opportunities

ACT exam

The ACT, formerly known as the American College Testing exam, was created by Professor Everett Franklin Lindquist in response to the SAT® which he found a poor way to measure a student’s aptitude and knowledge. The test includes four sections – Reading, Science, English, and Math – which are graded and averaged to create a composite score. Students can receive anything from 1 to 36 points. With the help of our Katy tutors and customized lesson plans, your student can raise their scores between 1-11 points.

SAT® exam

The SAT® exam, also known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test, is one of the most formidable exams your child will take in their academic career. Colleges and universities use the scores to help determine who to select from the many applicants they receive each year. The exam has four parts, which includes writing and language, math (calculator and no-calculator), and evidence-based reading. Students can potentially receive up to 1600 points. With our comprehensive study plan, our students have improved their scores between an average of 100-300 points.
