Family Matters - Our Story
Together we adopted two babies from South Korea in 1993 and 1995. Our older child was diagnosed with special needs and we fought the school system for years to get help for her. The information we learned improved our lives and helped us decide to help more families like ourselves. We are pleased to offer our diverse expertise acquired through experience as parents of a special needs child. We assist families in search of supplemental education services for both regular and special education students--especially learning issues like ADD and ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and Down Syndrome. Our unique combination of experience and education give us an intuitive edge in knowing how to help your child.
We are proudly referred by the Autism and Down Syndrome Societies of Southern Arizona as well as by our clients and tutors. Let us help your family relieve your stress by providing a holistic, relationship-based tutoring approach in the comfort, convenience, and privacy of your own home. That is how Tutor Doctor of Tucson helps learning hit home.
the Phoenix Award
Cynthia and Richard are proud recipients of the Tutor Doctor Phoenix Award.
“The Phoenix Award is named after the fabled bird that rose from its ashes with renewed life and beauty. This award is given to the franchisee who either did not get off to the fastest start or suffered a significant setback, but through perseverance, dedication and consistent above-the-line behavior, rose to success.”
