Spokane And Wenatchee Valley Tutoring Services

We serve our community best when we are fully engaged with it.

As the owner of Tutor Doctor Spokane, I am proud to support many worthy local organizations, including the following:

Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center, Wenatchee

Tutor Doctor is a business member of the Museum and I serve on its Board of Trustees. The Museum’s mission is to gather, engage, and educate people to celebrate and preserve the history, arts, sciences, and rich diversity of our region. In addition to its collection of historic artifacts and exhibits, the Museum sponsors child and adult education events, community forums, and even a robotics team.Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center, Wenatchee

Mobius Discovery Center, Spokane

Tutor Doctor sponsored two free STEM activities for elementary students at the Mobius Science Center last year, prior to the pandemic. We also are a donor to the Center. Its mission is to create innovative experiences that equip and inspire creative problem solvers of all ages. Mobius offers STEAM activities and school and group programs.

Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary

I am pleased to be a member of the Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary where I serve as a Board member and president-elect. Rotary is a volunteer organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace. Our local projects include supporting a Wenatchee middle school robotics team, becoming “goathead warriors” to help eradicate the noxious weed from areas around Grant Elementary in East Wenatchee, yard work for neighbors and friends, and our annual Apple Century Bike Ride.

We are happy to donate to local non-profit fundraising auctions with free tutoring hours and assessments. We have donated items to fundraising auctions of the River Academy, Cascade Elementary School Holiday fair, the Brave Warriors project, St. Joe’s School, Moses Lake Christian Academy, Cashmere Rotary Club and the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce.
