Pod Learning Communities
-
Pod learning communities serve as extensions or supplements to the district approved academic guidance. Whether your student is learning remotely or in a hybrid capacity, in our learning community they can connect with other students and a teacher to work through homework assignments, extend and reinforce the classroom learnings, participate in in-person enrichment activities, and have much needed socialization with peers.
-
A Pod Learning community is a group of 4-6 students with a dedicated teacher, that meets 2-5 days a week. Sessions can last from as little as 2 hours or for as long as 5 hours. Our programs offer services to “Socialize”, “Improve”, or “Get ahead”.
-
Students will complete an online assessment in reading and math to determine their academic baseline as part of the program. Ideally, students already know each other from a previous class, neighborhood proximity or through an extra-curricular activity such as softball/baseball, football, dance, gymnastics etc.
