Meet the Owner

Michael Warshawsky - Owner & Education Consultant Michael Warshawsky is the privileged Owner and Education Consultant of a Tutor Doctor franchise in the metro-New York region, serving North Hempstead and surrounding areas in Nassau and Queens Counties. Michael realized his passion for helping students to excel 10 years ago when he began advising high school students about college selection and application preparation at college fairs throughout Queens and Long Island as an alumni volunteer at Binghamton University. When he heard about Tutor Doctor, he was immediately attracted to the concept having experienced first-hand the positive, dynamic results of one-to-one learning on building confidence, improving study skills, and grades in his early school years.

Following a long and successful career as a Senior Equity Research Analyst in the Investment Management industry, Michael decided to switch gears to a business that is committed to empowering the lives of students, their families and the community. As a Tutor Doctor Education Consultant since January 2011, he can utilize his strong research, consulting and customer service skills to ensure the best educational outcome for each student encountered.

Michael is a native New Yorker residing in Manhasset, Long Island. He is married and has two daughters ages 25 and 16. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Binghamton University and MBA in Finance from NYU.
