Meet the Team at Tutor Doctor Brantford!
I am 24 years old and a certified teacher. I live in Brantford ON and I went to Laurier University as well as Nipissing University. I am qualified to teach grades 4-12 with many different subjects in that mix. I love to do things outside, especially learning. I find that you can learn so much more while you are exploring and being active and that is definitely how I like to teach and tutor as well! I love to hike, play sports, and spend my weekends at farms and farmers markets. I love animals, all animals! My main point in my teaching philosophy is that all students have the right to learn, to be engaged and to be heard and that is what I try and allow for all of my students.
I am a science student going into my third year at the University of Western Ontario, working to obtain my Bachelor of Medical Science degree. I have always liked science and math and enjoy helping students learn and expand their knowledge. I am experienced in tutoring anywhere from simple math up to calculus, as well as biology, chemistry, and physics – which are my main subjects I learn in depth about in school. I know how hard it can be trying to build on a main concept that you don’t fully understand; therefore, as a tutor I am patient with students.

Hello everyone, my name is Rana. I have 14 years of experience teaching math in university level. I have been tutoring for more than three years, I have taught middle school, high school, community college and university and I have volunteered my time and efforts in tutoring the adult’s math. In my students, I instill a positive mindset and encourage them every step of the way until they acquire the confidence to take on the subject that once intimidated them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading. I look forward to helping your math skills get improved.
