Tutor Doctor Bel Air Towson

  • Headshot of

    Rhonda Friscia

    Education Consultant / Owner

Inspired by her own children’s learning differences, Rhonda left the world of small business technology consulting to open a Tutor Doctor in her home town of Bel Air. Having double majored in Business Administration and Computer Science, she’s an admitted ‘nerd’, who brings her personal lifelong love of learning to her work. She most recently learned Geographic Information Systems and Spanish for personal enrichment. She loves languages. Moving from another part of Maryland in 2015, Rhonda was warmly welcomed by the Bel Air community and participates in the Harford County Chamber and several groups promoting women in business. Participating in parent teacher associations entrenches her in the schools her children attend. She has a passion to help all learners, but especially exceptional learners. Drawing upon her own experiences using private tutors, she enjoys seeing that ‘little miracle’ repeated again and again. “For us, we saw that proverbial light bulb come on after consistent, weekly sessions with a tutor. Once the knowledge gaps were closed, and she learned to chunk her longer assignments, I saw my child take ownership of her studies and really thrive intellectually.” Rhonda set out to bring that same feeling to other students and parents.
