I am writing to let you know about our experience with Tutor Doctor.  My son is in grade 9 and had some challenges in his English and Math classes, during the first term.  My husband and I felt that he would greatly benefit with some extra help in the way of tutoring.

Once we started searching for tutoring services, we found most places were very rigid in their options.  We knew we wanted to have someone come into our home, as opposed to having our son go back into a classroom setting.  In my search on the internet, I discovered the Tutor Doctor website.  I sent a message to find out more about their services.  I was pleased to have a response by the very next day.

 Todd Weagle, the franchise owner and education consultant, for the Halifax area, arranged an initial consultation.  During the consultation, our son was assessed to find out where his challenges were, as well as, his personality type.  This assessment helps to determine what amount of sessions would be beneficial,  and more importantly, which of the available tutors would best suit our son.

The service that we have received from Tutor Doctor has been outstanding.  The choice of tutor was excellent.  Chris, our son’s tutor, is very personable, knowledged and creative in his preparation, for each session.  We have found an increase in confidence, in our son, which has been shown in his work, attitude, marks and teachers recognition.

We have been pleased with the flexibility of choosing the days and times that fit our family’s hectic schedule, as well as, the personal one on one instruction in the privacy of our own home.  The payment options have also been tailored to our specific needs and those of our sons.  The follow up, by Todd, has ensured our happiness and satisfaction with the level of customer service.
